Use the non engraved side of your board for cutting. Your board is
made of solid wood and should not be fully submerged in water, or put in
the dishwasher (when you get home). Wipe the board with hot soapy water
to clean it and apply food safe board butter when ever it looks like a
little tired. 

We include a 1oz tub of our own board butter with purchase of a
board. Only use food grade products to protect your board. Do not use
olive oil, coconut oil, or vegetable oils, as they will go rancid after
some time on your board, and render it unfit for food.
